Day One
Monday October 6th
A Taste of the Adelaide Hills

THE LUSH ADELAIDE HILLS, just
half an hour from the city, is one of Australias foremost
cool climate viticultural regions, producing wines
similar to the wine regions of France. Beautiful gardens,
orchards, boutique cheese and food producers and arts and
crafts complete the picturesque mosaic of the region.
Discover the flavour of the German village of Hahndorf, with
tastings at Hillstowe Wines, Fleurieu Fine Foods and Shaw
and Smith winery. Perhaps a spot of fishing before an exquisite
regional lunch at Glen Ewen Estate?
The home of Petaluma Wines, Bridgewater Mill, opens its Methode
Champenoise cellars for tastings and finally, to Mount Lofty
House for dinner with winemakers and your overnight
accommodation.
Day Two
Tuesday 7th October
The Best of the Barossa
THIS
WORLD FAMOUS WINE REGION welcomes
you with its unique German culture and heritage. Enjoy the
Ultimate Tasting at Penfolds including the famous Grange Shiraz
followed by lunch at Jacobs Creek Visitor Centre with
Chef Ian Parmenter of ABC TVs Consuming Passions.
Spend the afternoon with legends of the valley including a
private tutoring at Peter Lehmann, a trip to Maggie Beers
Farm Shop, and onto Saltrams Winery for a Vince Trotta cooking
class. Spend the night at a resort or quaint Barossa Bed &
Breakfast.

Day Three
Wednesday 8th October
A Taste of the Clare Valley
DISCOVER "THE MOST UNBLEMISHED
wine region in Australia" and its famous rieslings. Tour
Sevenhills Winery run by Jesuit Priests and Knappsteins Winery
before lunch at charming Skillogalee. After lunch, a tasting
of local olive oils, a tour of historic Mintaro and high tea
at Martindale Hall en-route to your Adelaide accommodation.
You may wish to attend the special Tasting Australia dinner
at Magill Estate featuring a 5-course degustation menu highlighting
local produce.
