Thursday 9th October

A Taste of Adelaide

ATTEND THE HAHN PREMIUM BEER, FOOD & Wine Writer's Festival prior to learning the secrets of the Great Chefs from Australia and around the World at the Australian Gourmet Traveller Chef's Showcase.
Then stroll the famous Central Markets to choose gourmet foods to cook an Italian meal with Rosa Matto. Tonight join the extravaganza of the BMW Royal Adelaide Wine Show Dinner.

Day Two
Friday 10th October

A Taste of McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills

MCLAREN VALE, JUST 40kms SOUTH of Adelaide, is a picturesque landscape of rolling vine-covered hills and home to over 50 very individual wineries. First stop is a private tasting of wines, vinegars, olives, olive oils and cheeses at Coriole Winery.
Gabriel Gate Good Morning Australia hosts lunch at Longview Vineyard before a visit to 4th generation family run d’arenberg Vineyard & Winery, and Wirra Wirra Vineyards & Cellars.
Tonight, stay locally and dine at the famous Russell’s Pizzeria (numbers permitting) in Willunga.

Day Three
Saturday 11th October

A Taste of McLaren Vale

AFTER THE CHARMING WILLUNGA MARKETS, make your way either by foot, bike or car to the Salopian Inn, stopping at Penny’s Hill winery for a
tasting. Perhaps a visit to Medlow Fine Gels and Chocolates before your Tasting Australia 5 course lunch at the renowned Salopian Inn with Stefano
De Pieri from ABC TV’s Gondola on the Murray (limited spaces, so book early or an alternate gourmet lunch will be organised).
This afternoon sample the Fleurieu Food trail before returning to your Adelaide accommodation via the scenic Coast road.
You may wish to attend the special Tasting Australia dinner this evening at Magill Estate featuring a 5-course degustation menu highlighting local produce.
