ADELAIDE HILLS WINE TOUR
Your guide collects you from your accommodation at 9.30am
for a drive through the scenic Adelaide Hills to Mount Lofty
Summit for an unsurpassed view over the City. You wander through
the small Hills villages of Crafers and Stirling with a short
visit to the Organic Market before stopping in Hahndorf.
You can stroll through this old German village, taste the
excellent Hillstowe wines and visit the new Shaw and Smith
state of the Art winery to taste their exceptional white wines
and new merlot.
You visit the Bridgewater Mill, home of Petaluma Wines, then
tour the Methode Champenoise Cellars and taste the world-class
wines they produce over lunch at their outstanding restaurant.
If time permits you drive further into the heart of the Hills
to Chain of Ponds wines owned by the Amadio family. They produce
a range of award winning white and red wines in their little
piece of land reminiscent of Tuscany.
You return to Adelaide via Glenara Wines who produce a range
of organic wines on their property declared a sanctuary for
native flora and fauna.
