1 DAY
BAROSSA VALLEY WINE EXPERIENCE
Description
You are collected from your accommodation at 9:00am and
chauffeur driven via a winding road past Chain of Ponds (a
series of lakes containing Adelaide's water supply and filled
with native wildlife) as you slowly make your way to the Barossa
Valley. You see native Australian bush intertwined with the
European splendour of rolling hills, sprouting a sea of vines.
Some of the small family owned wineries you may visit are
Kies Estate, Grant Burge, Rockfords and Elderton. Larger well-known
wineries such as Yalumba, Penfolds, Orlando, Peter Lehmann,
Richmond Grove, Seppelts and many more can be visited. There
is considerable flexibility as to what we see, where you go
and which wineries you visit.
You can also give your palates a rest and tour the Keg Factory
where time stands still as the age old tradition of keg and
barrel manufacturing in the old coopering style still takes
place.
A three-course gourmet lunch of the highest calibre prepared
from fresh local produce and a complimentary glass of local
Barossa wine will be at a delightful restaurant, full of Barossa
character and Charm.
You return to your accommodation at 5:00pm.
