Coonawarra is recognised as one of the finest red wine producing regions of the world, its secret found in a marriage of rich red terra rossa soil, pure underground water and a long cool ripening season. Many of these qualities are now contributing to the credibility of the Limestone Coast Wine Zone, with wines from throughout the Limestone Coast recognised at many international wine shows.
